Downtown Cary Park Map Icons
This project was completed during an internship at French/West/Vaughan, a marketing and communications agency based in Raleigh, North Carolina. As part of a branding and marketing initiative for a newly developed public park, I designed a collection of wayfinding icons intended for use on park maps, signage, and throughout the site. The icon system was created to improve navigation, enhance accessibility, and provide visitors with clear visual cues while maintaining a cohesive design language.
Pratt Institute Wayfinding Design
This project is a conceptual rebranding and wayfinding system for Pratt Institute, designed to create a stronger campus identity while improving navigation and accessibility. The proposal combines signage, environmental graphics, and architectural elements into a cohesive visual language that reflects Pratt's creative culture and values. Durable powder-coated stainless steel signage, illuminated Varia resin panels, custom LED neon flex installations, and color-coded vinyl graphics work together to create a clear and engaging wayfinding experience. Interactive neon signage with motion-activated animations introduces a contemporary and memorable element, transforming navigation into an extension of Pratt's innovative and artistic character.
Subway Redesign
A conceptual redesign of the New York City subway wayfinding system, created to address common challenges in the current rider experience, including limited real-time information, visual clutter, poor visibility, and outdated transit displays. The proposal introduces a digital ceiling-mounted navigation system installed inside subway cars, providing passengers with live service updates, accurate arrival times, clear route information, and improved visibility throughout the subway car and their journey. By combining improved visibility with a modern, integrated design, the concept reimagines how transit information can be delivered in a more intuitive, accessible, and efficient way.
